We offer an exam only service for people that have completed the online SRC course with another Training Centre but where we may offer a more suitable location to sit the final exam. We charge a nominal £10.00 fee to cover our admin costs. The RYA charges an additional £76.00 certification fee which is paid directly to them via their online payment gateway.

Use the calendar below to select your preferred date & time to sit your exam. NOTE: you need to allow enough time for the Training Centre you did the online course with to post us your Exam Eligibility Form.

Once we have received your booking we will contact you to confirm your appointment and send you detailed joining instructions, including links to the RYA Exam Payment Gateway.

Exam only option

If you have completed the RYA online course with another Training Centre and are now ready to do the final exam you may find that logistically we are a closer option. If this is the case you can book this service with us. You will need to inform the Training Centre you did the online course with that you are completing the exam with another more local Training Centre and ask them to send us your Exam Eligibility Form.

  • The RYA charge £76.00 for the exam and certification service, this payment is made directly to the RYA through their online payment gateway.
  • In addition, we charge a nominal admin and postage charge of £10.00 payable when you complete your online booking.
  • Once we have received your VHF exam booking we will email you detailed Joining Instructions including links to the RYA Exam Payment Gateway.
