Ashore Sailing Club
We invite all past and present Ashore Sailing Club students to apply to join the newly formed Ashore Sailing Club. (Not for Profit)
The aims of the club are:
- Through our diverse membership explore new sailing and crewing opportunities.
- Maintain and expand social contacts with past & present classmates and crew.
- Negotiate member discounts and deals from a variety of companies and organisations.
- Offer discounts on many RYA training courses.

We had a great weekend at The Royal Air Force Yacht Club delivering the VHF Short Range Certificate Radio Course. Congratulations to all who attended and thanks to the club members we met for their hospitality.

We can now offer the course G31 handbook as an eBook.
eBooks are enhanced digital versions of the RYA’s printed books containing animations, video and interactive tools to help illustrate the key points and skills. As such, this eBooks is a great resource supporting our RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate Course.
eBooks can be viewed using a tablet, smartphone or computer which has the free RYA Books app installed.

We are pleased to announce our next RYA Competent Crew & Day Skipper practical course dates in The Solent. This is a 5 day course departing the Hamble on Thursday 29th September 2016 to Monday 3rd October 2016.
