RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) Classroom Course

During this course you will be taught current best practice in communications using VHF/DSC radios. You will be allocated your own training radio for the duration of the course.

The training session is followed by a second shorter session which includes a short written test  and  the opportunity to demonstrate your new knowledge and skills to an independent RYA examiner.

Successful completion of the course will qualify you to receive the Short Range Certificate of Competence (issued by RYA) authorising the holder to operate  VHF/DSC marine radio equipment.
