Ashore Sailing – about us!

Ashore Sailing is based in Leicestershire and has provided RYA theory course tuition at several centres in the East Midlands region for the past eight years.

We run intensive RYA Day Skipper , Yachtmaster & Ocean Theory Navigation courses, throughout the year, as well as specialised one day courses in marine VHF DSC Radio communications and RYA First Aid at Bottesford Community Centre, Nottinghamshire.

For students wanting a more relaxed pace, we run winter evening classes (2 hours per week x 24 weeks) in partnership with Leicestershire Adult Learning Service at Rawlins Community College, Quorn, Leicestershire.

We can also run courses for your group or club on your own premises.    [Enquire]

CONGRATULATIONS to all Ashore Sailing students who succesfully passed their RYA VHF DSC Marine Radio course on Saturday 15th October 2011 at Bottesford Community Centre in Nottinghamshire. They now hold their Marine Radio Short-range Certificate of Competence which legally qualifies them to operate a VHF/ DSC marine radio at sea.

The course will qualify you to receive from the RYA, the Short Range Certificate of Competence.
