Covid-19 UPDATE
As an independent training provider we are now able to resume Further Education in the classroom. We will continue with reduced class sizes to maintain social distancing and observe COVID 19 Government guidelines on best practice for a safe learning environment.

There is no denying that 2020 has been a very challenging year for us all.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their understanding and support where it has been necessary to reschedule course dates and times due the ever changing COVID 19 epidemic.
Whats New
Faced with the challenges Covid has presented we have tried to develop new ways to deliver our courses and improve our customers experience with our one stop booking and payment shop.
HYBRID Teaching & Learning
- The pandemic made us look at new risk free ways to deliver our shorebased courses. In March we successfully ran our first Hybrid course, delivering real time teaching and learning via the internet straight to you home. More INFO
Ashore Sailing Shop
- We have replaced our old booking form with our brand new online Shop. When you visit our shop you will see all our products and services that are in stock. From there you can book your course / buy your product and proceed to checkout where you will have the option to pay via Debit/Credit card or PayPal via PayPal’s secure payment gateway. It is our intention to add more complimentary products to our store in the coming months.

*Under the latest Government guidelines we have re opened our doors for Shorebased courses.
To maintain social distancing class sizes will be restricted to a maximum of four students plus the Instructor.
We have adopted additional cleaning and hygiene procedures in order to keep you and our staff safe.
Practical Courses
VHF Radio Assessments Resume
With the partial relaxing of Covid 19 restrictions we are now able to resume VHF /DSC assessments.
For this to be possible we have implemented specific procedures In order to keep our customers and staff safe and to comply with current Government guidelines. 
The most notable change is that assessments will be conducted in an open air environment on a one to one basis, and social distancing will be maintained at all times.

New – Hybrid Shorebased Courses
Exciting News
We have just completed our first RYA Day Skipper Hybrid Interactive Web based course. Our hybrid courses are not a traditional online course, this is a new concept offering a distributed classroom experience.
How does it work?
- Classes are collaborative i.e. your instructor & multiple students meet up on a web based platform at agreed times for classroom sessions
- Students see and hear live presentations / lessons just like they would in the classroom
- Students can talk to their instructor in real time during the session to ask questions or get clarification on any aspect of the topic being taught more info
